How the guides on this site are written and checked

Low Back Pain Coach is published by Scrolling Is Evil LLC. The guides are written by the person who built the app, who had low back pain for about ten years. Nobody on the team has medical or physical-therapy credentials, and no page claims a medical review that did not happen.

Where claims come from

Health claims come from clinical guidelines first (the World Health Organization's 2023 guideline on chronic low back pain, NICE NG59, the American College of Physicians 2017 guideline), then systematic reviews such as Cochrane, then individual trials. Each guide lists its sources with links. Program details (stages, doses, the next-morning rule) match the app's code and are kept in one fact sheet that every page is checked against.

What the guides do not say

No page promises an end to back pain, quotes success rates, or uses testimonials. Exercise has guideline support for chronic low back pain in general, with a modest average benefit. The app's exact bench progression has not been tested in a trial, and the guides say so.

How pages are checked

Before a page goes live, its claims are checked against the cited sources by two independent AI model reviews (from two different companies) and a final edit. An automated check blocks a list of banned phrases, unexpected prices and broken links within the site; it does not verify health claims, which is what the reviews are for. Each guide shows when it was last updated and, for health guides, when it was last reviewed.
